The Midwest’s leading IT Technology Team, 3Points, LLC is hiring experienced Network Engineers throughout Northern Illinois, South Eastern Wisconsin and Northwestern Indiana.
WE PROVIDE technology design, installation and support services to a wide variety of businesses utilizing Microsoft platforms including Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, and Windows 2003/2008 server.
WE ENABLE YOU to work with a broad range of technologies such as Dell servers, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Symantec Anti-virus, Symantec Backup Exec, Cisco firewalls and routers, Acronis imaging software, tape backup libraries, online backups, hosted IP phone systems, and other storage systems including Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) solutions.

We are looking for an energetic new member of our team who can:
Professionally interact with our clients delivering preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting services at a network-engineer level. This role requires solid communication skills, and the ability to think on your feet. A core component of this position will be the ability to provide high-quality technical services, from our offices via phone and remote connections, as well as to provide services onsite at our clients locations as needed. Engineer-level work experience supporting clients remotely, and references showing these skills, is a plus.
As needed, you may also work on location at our client sites providing IT network and desktop, design, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting services.
Our technicians work with a variety of technologies and we are looking for someone with a broad range of experience.

Job Requirements
College Degree or comparable work experience (MIS or IT degree preferred).
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the IT services industry or in a corporate IT department. At least one year of help desk or remote support experience is a plus.
Good planning and problem solving skills.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience working in many of the following areas: Windows XP/Vista; Windows 2003/2008 Server; Exchange 2003/2007; SQL 2000/2005/2008; Office 2003/2007; Symantec Backup Exec; Symantec Anti-Virus; APC Battery Back-Up Systems; Cisco PIX and ASA Firewalls; Hosted SPAM Solutions including Postini and MX Logic; Tape and Online Back-Up Solutions; Hosted IP Phone Systems; Blackberry and iPhone support; and network storage devices. We provide training and continuing education, but the ideal candidate should have experience in many if not most of these areas.
